Executive Management
Mark J Gore, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
Mark Gore joined GREENKOTE in 2012 in his current role. Prior to joining the company he served in
business leadership and development roles for advanced coating technologies and materials in the oil/gas,
semiconductor, data storage, steel and battery markets. Dr. Gore holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of
Cincinnati.
Arie Laor, Executive Director
Arie Laor joined GREENKOTE in 2005 as Vice President of marketing before becoming CEO
until 2012 and is currently Executive Director of business development. Prior to that, he gained
experience in a variety of marketing, business development and turnaround roles in the metal and
electronics sectors. Mr. Laor holds a BS and MS in Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University
and an MBA from the Management College in Israel.
Itzhak Rozentul,
Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Rozentul co-founded Greenkote in 1999 and the development of the Greenkote
thermo diffusion and thin powder topcoat technologies. His extensive engineering
experience in Russian and Israel includes development of special processes for
renovation and protection from wear of power station equipment and metallurgical
engineering of blades for planes jet engines. Mr. Rozentul has an MSc in
Physical Metallurgy from the Pollytechnic Institue of Leningrad.
James Thomson, Executive Director,
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Jim Thomson has been Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2007 after
serving in the same capacity at IPC. In November 2011 he became Chief Operating
Officer of Greenkote’s operations in North America. He has served in senior financial
positions at a variety of companies including Arthur Andersen, BP Coal and Teledyne.
He is a CPA and received a BS in Economics and Accounting from Miami University, Ohio,
and earned an MBA in Finance and Planning from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Dan Riter, Director of Engineering
Dan Riter holds an applied science and technology degree in chemical engineering
from Lafayette College, with more than 35 years of experience in materials and
applications systems within the coatings industry. Mr. Riter’s expertise focuses
on electro coating (e-coat), metal plating, diffusion coatings and phosphating
technologies. He has managed coating projects in nine countries in the past 15
years, with responsibility for eight major coating line installations.
Non-Executive Board
Victor Segal , Non-Executive Director and Chairman
Victor Segal joined Greenkote’s Board as Chairman in October 2006.
He retired from the merchant bank Singer & Friedlander in 2000 after 32 years. He headed the bank’s
international finance and loan syndication department and in 1983 he pioneered the secondary market
in trading of third world financial assets. Mr. Segal has been active in assisting start-up companies
since 2000 and is currently chairman of Supercart plc and Sterling Trade Finance. He has an MA in Law from
Oxford University and practiced as a solicitor.
Robert Hayim, Non-Executive Director
As a managing director of Charles Street Securities, a private equity portfolio investment
advisor, Robert Hayim has participated as Non-Executive Director of Greenkote since 2005.
Mr. Hayim has been involved in several start-up technology businesses and financial technology
organizations, including E-Vote, Thomson Financial, Data Source Limited, Financial Telecommunications,
and IP Sharp & Associates. He has a BA in Economics and an MBA in Management and Finance.
