Degreasing Coating Raw Parts Cleaning & Phosphating Drying
Degreasing
Pre-treatment operations are used to remove oils and light rust prior to coating.
Coating Raw Parts
The dry bulk zinc aluminium powders are combined with parts and heated at prescribed times and temperature in the retort chamber.
Cleaning & Phosphating
Parts are rinsed to remove coating dust after the heating cycle and passivated with a zinc phosphate solution.
Drying
All parts are dried and packed for shipment.

GREENKOTE| PM Thermal Diffusion Coating| HC & HT Coatings| TPCT Coating

CORROSION-RESISTANT COATING THAT IS TOUGH TO BEAT.

GREENKOTE® PM zinc thermo-diffusion coatings increase the protection of automotive components, construction and infrastructure elements, and electronics and weaponry parts. We provide technologies that produce uniformly applied corrosion resistance diffusion coatings. Best of all, our coatings contain no environmentally-harmful substances so they are in full compliance with the strictest of standards.

Our patented thermo-diffusion PM coatings work by Thermo-Chemical Surface Modification(TCSM) . This revolutionary process forms a protective layer that partially diffuses into the substrate and cannot be separated by physical or environmental testing. The process heals any micro fissures, cracks, or porosity in the coating while providing a sacrificial layer.

Carbon steel, cast iron and sintered metal parts can be coated with zinc thermo-diffusion coatings. We offer duplex coatings for added protection on a multitude of applications.

PM-1/PM-1H – Thick Corrosion Resistance Coating

Industrial fasteners and sintered parts with PM-1 thick diffusion coatings.

This is a thick diffusion sacrificial corrosion-resistant coating for marine, industrial, tropical and rural environments. It is ideal for carbon and low alloy steels and cast irons. An excellent preparation for painting, duplex coatings, adhesives and rubber to metal molding. Recommended for sintered and MIM part coating. A good solution for stainless steel replacement.

This coating line offers:

  • Long-term corrosion protection up to 350°C (752°F)
  • Coating thickness in the range of 20 to 120 µm
  • Uniform coating thickness for difficult part geometry
  • A surface hardness up to HV/HK 470 to 510
  • No hydrogen embrittlement
  • Damage resistance during crimping operations
  • Oxidation resistance and anti-seizing properties

PM-1 coated parts promotes improved adhesive bond strength for rubber to metal bonded components.

Additional features:

Neutral salt spray resistance up to 1000 hours with no sealers and special passivation layer, with a coating loss rate less than 0.050 g/m2/hr. The coatings contain no Chrome VI or Chrome III.

PM-10 (Zn-AL) and PM-21 (Zn-Al-Mg) – Thin and Uniform Diffusion Coatings

These are thin diffusion sacrificial coatings for carbon and low alloy steels and cast irons. Excellent base for a variety of topcoats and are suitable for small fine threaded fasteners with standard and high strength specifications.

GREENKOTE® PM-10 coated small screw coating thicknes less then 5 microns.

This coating line offers:

  • Long-term corrosion protection up to 350°C (752°F)
  • Coating thickness in the range of 5 to 15 µm
  • Uniform coating thickness for difficult part geometry
  • A surface hardness up to HV/HK 360 to 390
  • Uniform tightening torque
  • Damage resistance during crimping operations
  • No hydrogen embrittlement

Additional features:

The coatings contain no Chrome VI or Chrome III. PM-10 recommended for stamped parts, and PM-21 for fasteners.

Before and after showing threaded screws with GREENKOTE PM coating and uncoated. The coated screws withstand high temperature, oxidation and seizing.
