Degreasing Coating Raw Parts Cleaning & Phosphating Drying
Degreasing
Pre-treatment operations are used to remove oils and light rust prior to coating.
Coating Raw Parts
The dry bulk zinc aluminium powders are combined with parts and heated at prescribed times and temperature in the retort chamber.
Cleaning & Phosphating
Parts are rinsed to remove coating dust after the heating cycle and passivated with a zinc phosphate solution.
Drying
All parts are dried and packed for shipment.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGY BASED ON PROVEN PATENTED PROCESS.

GREENKOTE’s Thin Powder Color Topcoat (TPCT) is an exciting, emerging technological application that is an extension of the GREENKOTE® process. This dry bulk process employs the use of a polymeric base topcoat in combination with the thermo-diffusion process.

Suitable for small and medium size parts and a wide range of materials, this coating process provides excellent corrosion protection for finished parts, with or without base coatings. Substantial reduction in thickness is achievable without compromising durability. And TPCT technology allows for coating color according to customers’ request.

This coating line offers:

  • Lower cost bulk process
  • Coating thickness ranges between 10 to 25 µm compared to regular powder coating minimum thickness of ~ 60 µm
  • Thin, uniform coverage
  • Broad color paint types and options
  • High paint transfer efficiency
  • High UV protection
  • Environmentally friendly

Additional features: This coatings process is cleaner than conventional wet coating systems. This high performance powder coating emits no hazardous air pollutants or volatile organic chemicals. It is ELV, WEE and RoHS compliant. Provides significant savings for parts requiring thin multi-layered coatings.
